What is the last day of the Connected Home and Small Business Demonstration?
The last day of the demonstration is August 31, 2021.

What does that mean for me as a participant?
It means that BGE will no longer be doing an analysis of your energy use. It also means that the 1-855-81-CONNECT number will no longer be supporting the Demonstration. Customer and technical support will be available at this number through September 30, 2021.

Will my smart home technology still work after the Demonstration ends?
Your app and technology will still work, and you will still have technical support. Support will continue to be provided by the technology vendors.

Where do I go for help with my smart home hub and devices that aren’t related to an Ecobee thermostat?
For any technical questions about your hub and devices, please call 1-866-966-2272 or email support@getvera.com. If you have an Ecobee thermostat, see instructions below.

What do I do if I have a problem with my Ecobee thermostat?
You can call Ecobee directly at 1-877-932-6233 and select option #1.

What do I need to know when I call tech support?
You will need your hub’s serial number when you call. This can be found on the bottom of your hub. The serial number begins with either 5500 or 4606.

Where do I go with any questions about my participation in this demonstration?
Our customer support line will be available through September 30, 2021. You can reach us at 1-855-81-CONNECT and select option #3. You can email us at info@connectedannapolis.com through September 30th as well.

Will the website continue to be live after the Demonstration is over?
Yes, the website will be live through the end of 2023. However, enrollment for new participants in this demonstration will be closed. This FAQ will also be available online through the end of 2023, as will important contact information regarding technical support.

Will my participation in Peak Rewards or Connected Rewards be impacted in any way from the conclusion of the Demonstration?
No. If you are currently enrolled in Peak Rewards or Connected Rewards, that will not change. If you are a Peak Rewards customer who has questions related to this program, please call 1.888.309-PEAK (7325) Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ET.
